Politics: “The New Jersey Senate unanimously approved a bill that would heighten penalties for political violence months after a series of high-profile political killings rocked the nation,” via Nikita Biryukov.
Health: “An Assembly panel approved a bill Thursday that would ensure doctors in New Jersey can continue to get paid the same amount for treating patients in person as they do by video call,” via Lilo Stainton.
Food: “Gov. Mikie Sherrill signed bipartisan legislation on Thursday that requires public schools to place a link for the application for subsidized school meals prominently on their websites,” via Benjamin Leynse (our summer intern! 🥳).
Courts: Via Ian Karbal at the Pennsylvania Capital-Star: “A federal appeals court ruled Thursday that the Trump administration is within its rights to remove and replace exhibits on slavery at the President’s House site in Philadelphia.”
